On Wheels

About On Wheels

This started because I got tired of texting "Hey, can you call me when you're free? The car's doing something weird again…"

We had this old Passat. It was fine… until it wasn't. And when you've got small kids and a car that randomly acts up, suddenly every plan starts to feel fragile. The worst part? I had no clue what to say when calling a mechanic. I didn't want to sound clueless—but also, I was kind of clueless. So I'd call my husband. Or my dad. And even though they were helpful, I hated that I couldn't deal with it myself.

That feeling—that mix of frustration and helplessness—stuck.

On Wheels was born out of that. It's for anyone who's ever thought: "Why is it so hard just to explain what's wrong with my car?" It helps you log symptoms in plain language, track what's been fixed, and make sense of the mess that is car ownership—without needing to become a mechanic.

Long-term, I'm building toward a world where booking a repair is as smooth as ordering dinner, and finding the right shop isn't about luck—it's about data.

I'm not from the auto world. I'm just someone who hit a wall with a real-life problem—and decided to build the thing I wished existed. Because car trouble shouldn't make you feel powerless. And you shouldn't need to borrow someone else's confidence just to get it sorted.
